Is there going to be a new Firebird/Trans Am?
Since they’re bringing back the Camaro, will they be bringing back the Firebird/Trans Am? Anyone heard any news?
As it stands there will be a Pontiac counterpart to the new Camaro, with the same engines and basic layout (RWD 2+2 coupe) sometime around 2010.
It’s looking like that will be a GTO, not a Firebird, but I’ve seen very few people outside of GM that support that direction.
As big as GM is, they’re surely considering both alternatives. Only time will tell if they make the right choice.
