Can i put a 2008 5.3 Impala SS engine in my 2004 Impala?
Whenever my dad pass me his 2004 Impala after he has a new car or whatever I was thinking to put a 2008 Chevy Impala 5.3 SS (along with that factory transmission) engine into to replace the slow, weakass 3.4 SFI V6 engine that is still good but I think its weak haha. anyway what kind of things I have to consider before working on this project?
if it's the same block you shouldn't have any problem
