Fast On Race Day but really thats only for the mustang and the gt sucks to beucase the corvette will always own all ford does is strap suppercharges on their cars
and the shelby gt 500 is only made from the ford gt and the 5.4l f150 engine they cant even make a cool car have its own engine that is the truth so tell me what you think
Yeah, I don't like Ford.
GMC and Chevy are better, but questions like this make GM truck owners look bad.
I drive an 82 corvette and I would like to update the stereo. I bought 2 10'' 600w pioneer subs and an orion 250 hcca digital reference amp. I would like to hook up the amp to the rear speakers and the subs. And leave the radio to power the 2 speakers in the front. If I do this what kind of in dash receiver would I need to buy? Oh and I would like it to be ipod compatible. (I would love for it to be under $100 or so) Thanks!
i have good speakers/2 subs in the back with an amp, and my cd player is pushing the front speakers right now and you pretty much just cant even hear the front speakers, i would definitely recommend maybe getting a 4 way amp for your speakers and an amp for your subs, pioneer has some cool cd players around 100 that are ipod ready : )
Hey so I've got a 95 Mustang.. not sure if that matters but the rear tires in it are in need of replacing. now I figure that tires with that dope white writing on the side of them looks pretty sharp. any chance I could get these put on my car? if so, how?
*the writing on the tires is regular white LOL
Most tires come with the "dope" white letters on the side of them, but most people that have them choose to mount them so the letters are on the inside, but not all tires can be mounted both ways. If you are looking for a good performance tire, it will not have the white letters on it. Also, only thicker tires usually have the letters.
How do I disable the alarm from going off in my 1999 Ford Mustang V6 model once I start turning the ignition.?
I have driven in my 99 mustang for years now without using the keyless entry remote because i dont have one. but today of all days I get in my car and the alarm goes off in when i try to start it and i dont hear so much as a turn over or anything. The car is completly locked down and I dont know if there is any way of reseting it to work with just my key or not. Do i really have to pay ford for a remote that i didnt need for years?
looks like you posted this on some mustang forums also. the part the PATS system doesnt recognize is the key itself. you need to get a new key from the stealership. this happens sometimes. they just get old or heavy exposure to magnetic interference.
"What if I pay for a key-less entry and program it myself? Would that fix the problem and be cheaper than having some guy reset my ignition lock and alarm from triggering and waiting for this to happen again someday?"
ANSWER:no it would not. key less entry will not effect the pats system one way or the other. you can reset the system.get a new key. do both. or disable the system all at the stealership. there not that expensive 100$~
Car Radio, How to hook up a Pioneer Radio in a 1993 Ford Ranger with different plug-in harnesses?
How do I install a Pioneer DEH-P3500 radio in a 1993 Ford Ranger? It still has the factory radio in the truck. The Pioneer Radio has a difference harness plug, but it is labeled at the open ends with battery, ILL, MUTE, ACC, System Remote Control. I have no idea where to get an adapter that will fit the two harnesses. The truck is old and I only paid $20 for the new radio, so I don't want to spend much more... Can I hook up the wires straight without a harness? I can only find a wiring diagram for the Pioneer radio. TY
Thank you for all your help. I checked into the cost of a Harness and they are $15, so I will follow your suggestion and buy it. I thought it would be really complex and expensive. Again, Thank you!
if you want to hook it up without a harness, just start with all the wires stripped on the cd player and in the dash. usually a cd player will have a diagram on it telling which of its wires are which. as for the dash.... red is gonna be your main power wire, usually yellow is your constant, and black or a silver wire braid thing is your ground. then you just need to figure out which wire sets are for which speaker. speakers are usually color coded(ex. brown is rear positive, and brown with a white stripe is rear negative...and so on, just an example) to figure out which speaker the color is for, you can take a small 9v battery and hook up each end of the wire to it and listen to which speaker makes a small popping sound...then match that speaker wire set to the corresponding ones from the cd player. continue for all speakers, make sure every wire connection is completely covered to aoid grounding them out(electrical tape is cheap and works, but it ghetto and can sometimes cause bad connections, usually you want to get wire nuts(cheap from walmart in the car electrical or hardware section)) this should cover all your bases for a simple, no hrness hookup. good luck have fun.
and just for the record, there will prolly be at least a couple extra sets of wires from the cd player that you wont need such as the ill and mute. those are for adding other components through the cd player.
for the easiest install, get the right wiring harness for your vehicle, the colors on it should match up exactly on the cd player, just make the color coded connections, and then that cd player will plug directly into the current dash harness.

Perhaps you have never taken a bus tour or you haven’t taken one in many years. You may not be aware that the bus companies that offer bus tours also use a variety of buses or motorcoaches that serve as transport for the bus tours. It is not one size fits all. The fleets of bus companies that provide bus tours include large motorcoaches, small motorcoaches and everything in between.
The larger buses are constructed to hold from 30 to as many as 58 passengers. These models include all sorts of features from AM/FM radio and CD or cassettes to DVD players with as many as four to six video monitors. Of course, they are all fully air conditioned with climate control and some include as many as 38 speakers for the audio system. The seating is plush too. Many feature theater seating and reclining seats as well as tables you can play cards on and individual reading lamps.
The newer motorcoaches this size, like Country Coach’s Intrigue 530, even include a standard 32-inch HDTV in the front overhead which can be worked by a universal remote. And it is also equipped with three-position passenger seats with four-way lumbar adjustments.
The 2009 Tribute 260 includes a Kenwood® AM/FM radio and CD player with two living room speakers. There is also a mini home theater system with DVD and 2.1 surround sound; 12 cubic feet two-way refrigerator with icemaker and stainless steel door; six-way power adjustable driver and passenger seats with three-point restraint and adjustable arms; and a Garmin GPS navigation system with XM Smart Antenna and color LCD touchscreen interface.
These coaches are also handicap friendly which includes wheelchair accessibility and the ability to accommodate two wheelchairs in the seating.
Coaches used by Yankee Line, for example, are equipped with individual headsets too as well as individual tray tables and GPS enabled map viewing on the passenger video screens.
If your group is larger than 58 and is more in the range of 84, then there are double decker buses. There are closed and open top variations and they also feature overhead reading lights and vents, and CD player system with 39 speakers.
Perhaps a motorcoach with the capacity of 30 to 58 or as many as 84 passengers is larger than you require for your bus tours. Then there are medium sized motorcoaches that accommodate 18 to 28 passengers. These motorcoaches include climate control, DVD and TV monitors, cellular phones, reclining seats and overhead reading lights.
Many of these models have extra wide seats and include a galley with refrigerator, coffee maker, serving counter and storage drawers. And they also have oak fold down tables. And some VIP coaches have three flat screen televisions; DVD and VHS system with surround sound; kitchen with microwave and dining facilities as well as two refrigerators and conference set up with tables.
You find that coaches that can accommodate 18 to 28 passengers are too large? Then there are smaller vehicles that accommodate eight to 13 passengers.
These motorcoaches come with AM/FM radio, CD and cassette audio systems as well as video capability which includes a DVD player and color television monitors. Each seat has an individual reading lamp and luggage compartments are above the seats and under the floor. Many also feature reclining seats and climate control and are wheelchair accessible.
Vans that are constructed to accommodate nine passengers, some constructed by Mercedes, are equipped with air conditioning and full stereo system. And there are mini buses like the one made by Ford that accommodates 20 passengers and features upholstered individual seating and full stereo system.
Then if you are concerned about the environment, some bus tours companies include hybrid coaches in their fleet. A hybrid commuter coach manufactured by MCI® for example uses the latest clean-diesel engine technology. It is constructed in a fashion that allows the passengers to sit high above the traffic in plush forward facing, high backed reclining seats. Each seat has its own LED reading lamp and overhead airflow control.
So not only is there a right style motorcoach to accommodate your group’s size, there is a right style coach to accommodate the specific trip -- whether short or long. If your group is inclined to favor following the university’s football team to state-to-state away games or provide children a means of transportation to an overnight or day camp or provide a group of shoppers the right accommodations to visit area malls, there is a motorcoach that is styled, offers the appropriate features and include the proper amount of creature comforts.
Or if you are inclined to join bus tours that visit historic sights, provide transportation to an event with some stops at points of interests on the way, travel to cities in a tour within a region, and more then there is the proper motorcoach.
So when booking bus tours take into consideration the fleet of the bus companies you are researching. Ask them about their fleet. This way you are assured to get the proper match of vehicle to group/trip.

I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 automatic GL. I need to remove the fuel tank sender assembly so I can replace my fuel pump but the "Haynes" and "Chilton's" repair manual states that I need a "fuel tank sender unit wrench D84P-9275-A." My question is where can I get the wrench and do I really need it to remove the sender assembly?
I use a locking chain wrench whenever it fits -- a wonderful tool for those odd things:

Ford zx2 repair manual gives you an overview of your Ford sedan vehicle. It highlights a new vehicle design with similarities to its prior models like the Mercury Tracer. A 110 horsepower and 2 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. Experts fairly scored this vehicle, 10 being the highest, with performance, 3, fuel economy, 7, ride quality, 4, steering/ handling/ breaking, 4, quietness, 4, controls/ materials, 5, interior room, 4, room/ comfort (rear), 3, and cargo capacity, 2. The total score garnered was 41.
Although, this vehicle made a pretty good score from the experts, it still has several disadvantages. The disadvantages are rear seat room and wind and road noises -- having scored 3 over 10 for rear room/ comfort shows that it does not have much comfortable space at the back and having scored 4 over 10 for quietness which makes it a bit noisy with wind noise and road noise. The disadvantages this vehicle are fairly few and can be compensated with its advantages, which are having optional antilock brakes, consumes less fuel, and a fairly affordable price for middle income people or family. You also need chilton auto repair manual.
So this vehicle is essential for families who are trying to save up money. Or who wants vehicles that are sleek-looking but does not strain on the budget. I personally would like a vehicle such as this, because it gives the essentials like airbags, enough room for steering and optional anti-lock brakes. With a 110 horsepower engine, it is fast enough and efficient enough for me to reach a destination in time. I mean why buy a fast car that would only cost me much and would also risk my life with high possibility of maintenance. It is more practical to buy a car that is suitable for you and that can give you the edge as well as the necessary things you need in a car.
With Ford zx2, you get your money's worth because it offers the features that are necessary for a vehicle. It does not have gimmicks that would costs you more. It only has the essentials you need in a vehicle which will allow you to reach your destination with style and comfort that you need. And the manual/Audi Repair manuals is easily available and easy to understand so that adds up to the advantages. So this vehicle is not only good for families but for the working people and for students who can afford this car as well.
